Linking People who are discerning the times

Hearing God together and teaching the body of Christ

OUR VISION

To draw people closer to Jesus Christ and help the Bride of Christ make herself ready (Revelation 19 verse 7)

We focus on the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, a neglected area in church teaching, and aim to:

  • Identify clearly what the bible says about the subject, in particular Jesus’ own words.
  • Consider history and current world events to see how they align with prophecy
  • Draw people closer to Christ
  • Equip members to minister into their churches, families, communities and workplaces
  • Stand against the forces of evil operating in our nations

FOUNDATIONS OF THE MINISTRY

We desire to see the God given gifts in His people released. This is a Community Ministry helping the Body of Christ to work together in unity through:

Prayer and Worship - Fellowship (taking counsel together) - Encourage study of the whole bible (old and new testaments) - Sharing God’s revelation - Teaching

SOUND DOCTRINE

Many cults have formed around the subject of end times and the return of the Lord so it is generally avoided. However, Jesus rebuked the religious leaders of the day for not knowing how to discern the signs of the times (Matthew 16:3). Sound doctrine is required; a focus on His soon return should lead the Christian to desire Jesus and to deal with selfishness and sin. The work of Christ at His first coming has to be exercised in us whilst we are in this life.

We provide a broad range of study, supported through the Learning Centre. Study alone is insufficient – the bible instructs us not to neglect fellowship together. This should be within local churches, but we encourage Men of Issachar to get together to seek God and share their understanding of the times. Hearing God together will equip us to minister into our churches, families, communities and workplaces.
